Southern DataStream, Inc. (SDS) and Intelligentsia International, Inc. (III), specialists in water resources internships have developed a Florida-based instructional program that combines direct work experiences with tours, seminars, and community involvement focusing on the values of a pluralistic, democratic society and its management of natural resources.  The partners will deliver advanced training in water resource management tailored both to the needs of students and professionals from less developed parts of the world, and to the wider economic and societal needs of these regions.  Integrated with the developing-nation participants will be a group of U.S. and Western European students who will provide cultural balance and context.  Transitional assignments, like the Rotary/CARE project in Central Asia, will be organized in various countries to help training program graduates apply their skills to the water supply and management needs of impoverished villages in their home nations.
